TESLA CONTINUES SUMMER 2005 TOUR PROMOTING 'INTO THE NOW'

  

Tesla has toured relentlessly in support of its latest acclaimed studio album, 'Into The Now,' and the Sacramento-based quintet is not stopping yet. More shows are scheduled for summer 2005.

 

Vocalist Jeff Keith, guitarist Frank Hannon, guitarist Tommy Skeoch, bass guitarist Brian Wheat and drummer Troy Luccketta completed a huge slate of concerts in 2004 upon the release of 'Into The Now' on Sanctuary Records and then embarked on a wildly successful run of acoustic shows earlier this year. These "unplugged" dates celebrated the 15th anniversary of the release of the groundbreaking 'Five Man Acoustical Jam' live album and the smash hit single "Signs."

 

Tesla's musical versatility is extraordinary. No other band's songs today lend themselves to equally powerful electric or acoustic performance.

 

This summer, Tesla joined Def Leppard for a short series of concerts. It is the first time the two bands have toured together in nearly 20 years. Tesla and Def Leppard packed North American arenas in 1988 while supporting the 'Mechanical Resonance' and 'Hysteria' albums, respectively.
